Charitable Organizations We Support
At Blue Chip Financial, we are dedicated to helping individuals plan for their future and love doing so on a person to person level, but believe our responsibility to our community runs even deeper than that. It is our honor to contribute our time and resources to these important and noteworthy causes.
The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Together with individuals, charities, businesses and government they are working to end hunger. They work to get nourishing food – from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers – to people in need. At the same time, they also seek to help the people they serve build a path to a brighter, food-secure future.
Their mission is to support and build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities that they’ve worked so hard to protect. They do so by assisting military families during difficult financial times by providing food assistance, auto and home repair, vision care, travel and transportation, moving assistance, essential home items, and rent-free transitional housing for wounded veterans and their families. They have programs to help military families gain long-term stability by awarding mortgage-free homes, and help caregivers of wounded warriors through their Hearts of Valor program.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
The foundation's primary focus is to create consumer awareness and education specifically for the signs, symptoms, and risk factors for Brain Aneurysms while supplementing research and support initiatives where appropriate. The organization also creates and encourages unique programs that promote early detection and innovative research in the quest to find more effective methods in the areas of prevention and treatment.
Future 5 helps motivated, low-income high school students in Stamford connect to their full potential. Their philosophy and community strengthens a student’s self-esteem through character building workshops, job preparation programs and one-on-one coaching. Future 5 students develop the motivation and a game plan for achievement in school and life. Since their founding in 2009 they have served more than 500 student members by instilling the can-do attitude of the Future 5 brand and teaching the importance of resilience, grit, follow-through, and integrity. 99% of their students have successfully graduated High School and 94% have gone onto two or four year colleges. This is an incredible accomplishment as most of these students are the first in their families to ever go on to a secondary education. Their students’ success directly impact the high school population, the community at large, as well as the companies that operate in Stamford.
The Felix Organization provides inspiring opportunities and new experiences to enrich the lives of children who are growing in the foster care system. For four weeks each summer, 150-200 children from New York City’s most impoverished communities are given the chance to leave behind their difficult circumstances and gain independence, make new friends and explore the natural world at their campus in Putnam Valley, New York. Camp Felix allows these children, so many of whom work with social workers, therapists, special educators and lawyers throughout the year, to just be children. From swim instruction to art and theater, to wall climbing and dance, the children overcome fears, try new activities, and form bonds with dedicated staff members and with campers who share a similar background.
