How We Are Paid
Blue Chip Financial follows a flexible compensation model tailored to each individual client. Regardless of the model chosen, our compensation will be transparent to you.
In the fee-based compensation model you pay a percentage of the assets we manage. We initiate the relationship financial plan (either basic or comprehensive), manage your portfolios through LPL Financial, and provide regular updates, annual consultations, and ad hoc contact as necessary to follow the developed financial plan.
In some cases, it is in the best interest of the client to pay an up-front commission with minimal future expenses. Examples include lump sum college savings and any insurance products necessary to implement a financial plan.
If you have a specific need for financial planning but no assets to manage, Blue Chip Financial can work on an hourly consulting basis or execute a fixed price project. Examples include employer retirement plan reviews or life insurance reviews.
